Minor Ailments

Skin Cytology $70

We place a sample of your pet’s ear discharge or skin cells under the microscope to determine the type of infection and best course of treatment. 

Mass Cytology $70

We use a needle to take a sample of cells from the mass. In many cases, we can evaluate the cells during your pet’s appointment; however, occasionally we will need to send the cells to a laboratory for a pathologist to read. We remove our cytology charge and the cost to send it out is $170.

Urinalysis $110

We use two methods to screen your pet’s urine for bacteria, blood cells, mineral changes, and pH changes.

Please try to prevent your pet from urinating before our visit – we need a fresh sample to test.

Fecal Exam $70

We use two methods (float and smear) to thoroughly evaluate your
pet’s feces for internal parasites.

Ear Cleaning $50

New infections can be uncomfortable or difficult to clean. We’ll do the first cleaning to start you and your pet’s treatment off on the right foot.

Anal Gland Expression $50

Is your pet scooting, straining, or licking? We’ll check your pet’s anal
glands and express them if needed.

Eye Staining $30

If your pet is squinting or tearing, they may have an ulcer or abrasion on their eye. We will stain their eye with a water-based stain to look for cornea changes.

Nail Trim (Adult) $45

Nail Trim (Pediatric) $35

Short nails help your pet move confidently, decrease their chance of arthritis in their feet, and reduce their risk of catching and tearing a nail. We’ll gently restrain your pet and trim their nails for you!

Canine Heartworm Test $75

Using a small amount of blood, we can test your dog for heartworms.
We require this test to provide / approve annual prevention. If your
pet is positive, we will discuss treatments.

Feline Triple Test $75

Using a small amount of blood, we can test your cat for feline leukemia, feline aids, and heartworms.

This service is included at a discounted price with VetMobile’s annual exam packages.

Exotics $120

We are happy to examine, vaccinate, and treat minor ailments of other than cats and dogs! Dr. Kline has over 25 years of experience with exotic animals and is excited to help your pets!

Rehabilitation Exercises $200

Has your pet had surgery recently? We can help get them back on their feet by showing you easy exercises you can do at home. This appointment is at least 1 hour to allow demonstrations and for you to ask questions!
