Vaccines & Testing
All annual visits include a review of your pet’s medical history, a thorough physical exam, and the vaccines your pet is due for.
For dogs, we will also perform a heartworm test and a fecal.
For cats, we will also perform a triple test and fecal. These two tests are optional for indoor cats and we are happy to review and discuss your indoor cat’s risk.
Prices are listed below. For the exam, it is $90 for the first pet, and $85 for each additional pet. Additional prices for services are outlined below.

Puppy Vaccines
Puppy vaccines are given every 3 weeks until your dog is 16 weeks old.

- Bordetella (aka Kennel Cough)
- Canine Influenza (optional but recommended for dogs that are around other dogs [grooming, dog parks, stores, day care, boarding])

Adult Dog Vaccines
These vaccines are given to dogs 1 year and older.
- Rabies
- 1 year after puppy series, then every 1 or 3 years depending on vaccine selected
- Canine Combo
- Protects Against: Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Canine Parainfluenza, and Canine Parvovirus
- 1 year after puppy series, then every 3 years
- Bordetella (aka Kennel Cough)
- 1 year after puppy series, then annually
- Canine Influenza (optional)
- 1 year after puppy series, then annually
- Optional, but highly recommended for dogs that are around other dogs (grooming, dog parks, stores, day care, boarding)
- Lyme (optional)
- 1 year after puppy series, then annually
- Optional, but highly recommended for hunting dogs, hiking/camping dogs, or dogs that are in the woods or fields often. This is a disease transmitted by ticks.
Boostering First Time Vaccines
If a Canine Combo, Influenza, or Lyme vaccine is given for the first time to an adult dog, we recommend boostering that vaccine 3 weeks later.

Kitten Vaccines
Kitten vaccines are given every 3 weeks until your cat is 16 weeks old.

- Feline Leukemia (FeLV)

Feline Leukemia Vaccine: $55.00

Adult Cat Vaccines
These vaccines are given to cats 1 year and older.
- Rabies
- 1 year after kitten series, then every 1 or 3 years depending on vaccine selected
- Feline Combo (FVRCP)
- Protects Against: Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia
- 1 year after kitten series, then every 3 years
- Feline Leukemia (FeLV)
- 1 year after kitten series, then annually (with outside exposure) or every 3 years (if strictly indoors).
Boostering First Time Vaccines
If a Feline Combo or Feline Leukemia vaccine is given for the first time to an adult cat, we recommend boostering that vaccine 3 weeks later.

Heartworm Testing
Done at 6 months, then annually.
We use a small blood sample to test the blood for heartworms.
Each Test: $60 with annual exam
Heartworm Prevention
Heartworm prevention is recommended for every dog, cat, and ferret in Arkansas year around.
We offer Proheart 6 month and 12 month injections on-site.
Alternative heartworm prevention can be purchased through our online pharmacy or we can write a prescription for your pharmacy of choice.


Fecal Parasite Screening
Done annually
We use a small amount of your pet’s feces to look for microscopic parasites using 2 different techniques.
Each Test: $50 with annual exam
FIV/FeLV/HW (Triple) Testing
Done before first Feline Leukemia vaccine, then annually for any cat that goes outside.
We use a small blood sample to test the blood for:
- Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (aka feline aids)
- Feline Leukemia
- Heartworms
Each Test: $60 with annual exam
Heartworm Prevention
Heartworm prevention is recommended for every dog, cat, and ferret in Arkansas year around.
For cats, heartworm prevention can be purchased through our online pharmacy or we can write a prescription for your pharmacy of choice.

Vaccine schedules are based on the latest AAHA Guidelines.
Currently, we do not carry the Rattlesnake vaccine. If there is interest, we can order this vaccine and may offer it in the future.
We hope to offer more flea, tick, and heartworm prevention options in the future. In the meantime, please visit our online pharmacy. They will ship directly to your home and their prices are competitive with other online pharmacies.
